For the design city biennale 2016 in Luxembourg, I had the opportunity to transform the footbridge that leads form the Luxembourg train station to Bonnevoie. The rather unappealing, temporary bridge called for an uplifting change. One, that the daily commuters and everyday users of this place could profit from. With Alex Brown, we created a 16 channel walkable sound installation. Over a duration of 30 minutes the footbridge would become a gateway into different worlds, changing temperatures and climate, transfer from lonely to heavily occupied spaces and leaving the spectator in doubt of what is real and what is the artificial soundscape.
